The Manifesto
My vision is simple: every Strathmore student should leave university with more than a degree. Here is exactly what I will work on as your Female Academic Representative.

01Beyond the Classroom Series
I will establish a monthly Beyond the Classroom Series designed to equip students with practical skills that complement their academic education. Sessions will cover CV and cover-letter writing, interview preparation, LinkedIn optimization, and the effective and ethical use of AI in academic work.
02Empowering Class Representatives
I will advocate for regular leadership development sessions for class representatives, focusing on communication and accountability. I will also support the implementation of the Class Representative Model proposed by the current Academic Representatives, building on existing work rather than starting from scratch.
03Your Voice, Your Faculty
I will advocate for stronger communication and follow-up between students, class representatives, faculty management and the school. Building on the ongoing Barazas held by the Dean and Faculty Managers, I will push for academic feedback that communicates what students raised, what has been addressed, what is still being worked on, and what happens next.
04Ask an Alumni
I will create more opportunities for students to connect with alumni, professionals and industry leaders and understand how their university experience translates into life and careers beyond Strathmore. This will include alumni talks and interactive sessions, virtual guest lectures, and industry and career conversations.
Students Heard, Academic Needs Identified & Addressed.
